Natural Insulations

NBT insulations are part of NBT Systems, but can also be used as stand alone products. They are manufactured to the highest quality standards and are fully certified. They all utilise natural fibres which are entirely renewable and have considerable performance benefits; health benefits and are simply more pleasant to deal with.

• High air based thermal resistance (from k = 0.036 to 0.039)
• High density (between 30 and 45kg/m3) and high specific heat capacity leading to high thermal mass
• Good acoustic performance 
• Excellent breathability, both vapour permeability and hygroscopicity

NBT hemp batts batts, made from hemp suitable for walls (not in cavity masonry walls), sloping ceilings, lofts and suspended floors

Thermafleece sheepswool - batts, made from UK sheepswool, suitable for walls (not in cavity masonry walls), sloping ceilings, lofts and suspended floors

Warmcel®l 100 cellulose insulation loosefill insulation from recycled newspaper, for lofts and suspended floors

Pavatex Woodfibre Boards - rigid insulation from waste FSC timber, often combined with one of the above products.
